Day 1 of my trip across Scandinavia. – Copenhagen

First a quick stop at the Cabinn City Hotel to drop off my bags.

The entrance to Christiansborg Palace – the administrative centre of Denmark.

Inside the Palace I had to cover my shoes.

First the reception room.

The Royal reference library. The doors in the corner are a lift.

Underneath the Palace are the ruins of the previous palaces. In an emergency you need to use the ladder to get back up. Also old wooden pipes joined with lead.

Nyhavn (New Harbour).

The opera house and a submarine that went to Iraq in 2003 and broke down.

The royal yacht boarding point and another royal palace.

Tivoli is currently closed while they get ready for Halloween.
