Day 4 – 17/08/19 – Mount Elbrus
Early morning and Mount Elbrus is cloud covered.
The cloud soon cleared. (We are aiming to climb the left hand peak.)
Looking across the mountains towards Georgia.
Heading back up Elbrus.
Some people are camping on the mountain at 4,000 meters.
Up to the top of the Pastuckhov Rocks at 4,750 meters. This will be our starting altitude on summit day. We’ll get a snow plow up to this position.
