Day 3 – 28/04/19 – Imil to Dades Gorge, Morocco

Day 2 – 27/04/19 – Mount Toubkal, Morocco
Leaving the snow covered mountains behind.




They’ve widened and straightened the road since I was last here.

Day 1 – 26/04/19 – Mount Toubkal, Morocco
Final assent of Mount Toubkal, from the refuge to the summit. Starting before sunrise with a head torch.


Crampons are needed on the snow.

Back to the refuge for lunch.





Then down the valley to Imlil.





Setting off to climb Mount Toubkal. It’s a 2 day climb. Starting at Imlil, 1,800 meters above sea level, and walking up to the refuge at 3,200 meters. Then the next day to the summit at 4,167 meters and back down again to Imlil.

Day 23 – 03/11/18 – Victoria Falls

Day 22 – 02/11/18 – Victoria Falls
Spent most of the day white water rafting on the Zambezi. (Which was a bit too wild for a camera).

Day 21 – 01/11/18 – Chobe National Park
Our last stop.

I did consider crocodile cage diving, but felt the pool the crocodiles are kept in is a bit small.

Day 20 – 31/10/18 – Chobe National Park
Early morning, the lions are waking up.

The cubs are hidden under bushes.












Some are still sleeping.





The cubs wanted attention from mummy.








He has fought for all those lionesses.

Day 19 – 30/10/18 – Elephant Sands.

The 2 tents survived the night.


The elephants have learnt to lift the drain covers up and drink the water.

The concrete pyramids are around the back of the tent to stop the elephants breaking in to the bathroom to get at the water.
