A drive around North Scotland.

Heading north from Inverness, I stopped at Lairg for a break, next to Little Loch Shin.

Heading North along the A838. One of the remotest roads in the country.

Heading south from the costal road, along the A836. This is Loch Craggie (nearest) and Lock Loyal behind it.
Up on the moors south of Loch Ness, I could see Lock Knockie.
If you ever drive down Loch Ness, try the road on the south side.
